This Refund Policy explains when Nestbitt Inc. ("Nestbitt", "we", "our", or "us") offers refunds for paid subscriptions. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Subscription & Billing Terms and Terms of Service.
Because Nestbitt delivers digital services and AI-generated output that you consume on demand, refunds are limited in the ways described below. None of these limits override the mandatory consumer-protection or withdrawal rights described in the Statutory Rights section.
Overview
We want you to be satisfied with Nestbitt. If you are not, you may be eligible for a refund of an initial purchase within a limited window, provided you have made only minimal use of the Service. Renewals, consumed usage, and certain promotional purchases are generally non-refundable.
Standard Refund Window
You may request a refund of your initial purchase of a paid plan within 14 days of that purchase, provided your usage has been minimal. For the purpose of this policy, usage is treated as minimal when both of the following are true:
- You have generated fewer than 5 tracks since the purchase; and
- You have used less than 10% of the generation quota included with the plan for the current billing period.
If you meet these conditions within the 14-day window, we will refund the amount paid for the initial purchase to your original payment method. Once usage exceeds either threshold, or the 14 days have passed, the standard refund window no longer applies (though your statutory rights may still apply).
These thresholds match the Billing Terms
The 14-day, fewer than 5 tracks, and less than 10% of quota figures are stated consistently in our Subscription & Billing Terms. The standard window applies to the first purchase of a plan, not to subsequent renewals.
Non-Refundable Cases
Except where the law requires otherwise, the following are non-refundable:
- Mid-cycle cancellation of an active period — Cancelling during a billing term does not refund the remaining portion of that term; access simply continues until the term ends.
- Consumed usage — Charges attributable to generation or features you have already used, including where usage exceeds the minimal-usage thresholds above.
- Renewals — Amounts charged on automatic renewal, where you had the opportunity to cancel before the renewal date.
- Promotional or discounted purchases — Plans bought under a promotion, discount, or trial-conversion offer may be non-refundable, as stated at the time of the offer.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at support@nestbitt.com from the address associated with your account and include:
- The email address and account name on your Nestbitt account;
- Your order, invoice, or receipt details (for example, the Stripe receipt or the date and amount of the charge);
- A brief description of why you are requesting the refund.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Stripe, typically within 5 to 10 business days of approval, though the time for funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.
Statutory & Withdrawal Rights
Mandatory consumer rights override this policy
This policy does not limit or override any mandatory consumer-protection, distance-selling, or cooling-off / right-of-withdrawal rights you have under applicable law — for example, the EU and UK 14-day right of withdrawal, the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, and other Canadian consumer-protection legislation. Where those rights are more generous than this policy, they apply. Note that where you ask us to begin AI generation immediately, you may be asked to acknowledge that performance has begun. Under some withdrawal regimes, expressly consenting to immediate performance of a digital service can reduce or end your right to withdraw once the service has been fully supplied — but only to the extent the applicable law permits.
Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first at support@nestbitt.com so we can resolve it directly — this is usually faster than a bank dispute. Initiating a chargeback for a charge that is valid under this policy and the Billing Terms may lead to suspension of your account pending investigation.
Disputes
Refund disputes are handled under the dispute-resolution provisions of our Subscription & Billing Terms and Terms of Service, subject always to the statutory rights described above.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make a material change we will update the version and effective date shown for this document. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
