Creator Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective May 27, 2026

The rules and obligations for creators who monetize on Nestbitt — eligibility, originality and rights, the 15% marketplace commission, payouts, prohibited monetization, and how the program can change.

This Creator Policy applies if you monetize content on Nestbitt Inc. ("Nestbitt", "we", "our", or "us") — for example, by selling, licensing, or otherwise earning from music, voices, or other content through our marketplace and creator features. It supplements our Terms of Service and works together with the Licensing & Usage Rights, Subscription & Billing Terms, and Copyright Policy.

By participating in any Nestbitt monetization feature, you agree to this policy. Where this policy and the Terms of Service address the same subject, the Terms control.

Eligibility

To monetize on Nestbitt, you must meet and continue to meet the following requirements:

  • Account in good standing — your account must be active and free of unresolved violations of our Terms of Service, Content Policy, or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Age and capacity — you must be of legal age to form a binding contract and to receive payments in your jurisdiction.
  • Identity verification — you must complete any identity verification we require, and the information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • Tax information — you must provide valid tax information and any forms we are required to collect before payouts can be released.
  • Valid payout details — you must supply accurate payout details through our supported payment provider.

Originality and Rights Obligations

You may only monetize content that you own or that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and consents to monetize. You represent and warrant this for every item you list, and you remain responsible for it.

  • Do not monetize material that infringes another party's copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights.
  • Do not monetize a real person's voice or likeness without that person's clear, informed consent.
  • Keep records of the licenses and consents that support your rights; we may ask you to verify them.

AI output carries no exclusivity

Content you generate with our tools is subject to the limitations described in our AI Disclosure and Licensing & Usage Rights. We do not warrant that AI-generated output is exclusive to you — identical or similar output may be generated for other users — and under current law purely AI-generated material may not be protectable by copyright. You monetize generated content with these limitations in mind.

Monetization and Commission

When you earn money through Nestbitt's marketplace monetization features, Nestbitt retains a 15% commission on the gross amount of each qualifying transaction, and you receive the remainder, less any payment-processing fees, taxes, refunds, or chargebacks that apply. This 15% commission rate is consistent with the rate stated in our Terms of Service and Licensing & Usage Rights.

Buyer pays (gross sale)$100.00

Creator share (before processing fees and taxes)$85.00

The example above is illustrative only. Payment-processing fees charged by our provider, applicable taxes, and any refunds or chargebacks are applied separately and may reduce the net amount you receive. We will show the applicable rates and any fees in your creator dashboard.

Payouts

  • Threshold — earnings are paid out once your available balance reaches the minimum payout threshold shown in your creator dashboard.
  • Schedule — payouts are processed on a regular cycle (for example, monthly) for balances that meet the threshold and are not subject to a hold or review.
  • Method — payouts are made through our supported third-party payment provider to the payout details on your account.
  • Currency — payouts are made in the currency indicated in your dashboard; currency conversion, where it applies, is handled by the payment provider at its rates.
  • Taxes and withholding — you are solely responsible for any taxes on your earnings, and for reporting and remitting them. Where we are legally required to withhold or report, we will do so, and we may deduct withholding from your payout.

Billing, payment timing, and related obligations are described further in our Subscription & Billing Terms.

Prohibited Monetization

You may not use creator features to monetize:

  • Infringing content, or content you do not have the rights or consents to sell or license.
  • Fraudulent, deceptive, or misrepresented content, including content falsely attributed to a real person.
  • Content generated through artificial streams, plays, or engagement, or earnings inflated by bots, fake accounts, or coordinated manipulation.
  • Anything prohibited by our Content Policy or Acceptable Use Policy.

We may withhold, reverse, or claw back earnings derived from prohibited monetization, including suspected fraud or artificial engagement.

Program Changes and Termination

We may change the commission rate, payout terms, or other aspects of the creator program. For material changes we will provide reasonable advance notice through the Service or by email, and the changes will apply prospectively from their effective date.

  • We may suspend or hold payouts where we reasonably suspect a violation, fraud, or unresolved chargebacks or disputes, while we investigate.
  • We may suspend, limit, or remove your participation in the program for violations of this policy, the Terms, or other policies.
  • Repeat infringers are removed from monetization and may have their accounts terminated, consistent with our Copyright Policy.

Disputes

Questions about a specific payout or earning should first be raised with us so we can review them. Any formal dispute is governed by the dispute-resolution provisions of our Terms of Service, under the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
